Organ Impairment

An ever-increasing ageing population has augmented the necessity for studies to be undertaken in patients with organ impairment.

The MEU has established partnering capabilities with neighbouring Phase 1 units to deliver organ impairment studies to ensure client timelines are met.

Currently the MEU has over 1,000 patients with Chronic Kidney Disease. Our unique position adjacent to Wythenshawe Hospital’s dialysis unit facilitates access to this complex patient population.

The MEU has access to a large patient population with Chronic Liver Disease, based upon Child-Pugh classification.
